Capnography Mask
The Dual Capnogrophy Mask provides continual monitoring of carbon dioxide being exhaled from the mouth and nose while administering oxygen to the patient. The integrated oxygen and sampling line provides quick and simple operation.

Capnography provides the following vital information: - Hypoventilation - Hyperventilation - Confirming, maintaining and assisting intubation - Return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) - Measuring cardiac output during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

- End tidal CO2 as predictor of resuscitation outcome - Monitoring sedated patients - Ventilating head injury patients - Perfusion warning sign - ETCO2 in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), and congestive heart failure (CHF)

Easy Fit with Excellent Seal The soft, pliable mask molds easily to the patient's face, while the feather rim provides maximum comfort to the patient. Star Lumen Tubing, Secured Oxygen Delivery Star Lumen Tubing, supplied with international standard conforming connectors, ensures that the flow of oxygen is maintained even if the tube is kinked. Clear Observation of Face Color and Vital Signs The mask is made of colorless and transparent soft PVC to allow visual inspection. Ease and Speed of Use The swivel sampling and oxygen connector allows the mask to be fitted swiftly, the connector can be rotated to suit the patient's position. Nose Clip Adult Dual masks are also available with a nose clip.

PCO2 Inspiration and Expiration Phase 1 is the section between A and B where inhalation has ended and exhalation begins. Phase 2 is the section between B and C which represents continued exhalation from the remaining dead space and proximal alveoli. Phase 3 is the section between C and D which represents airflow from the alveoli during uniform ventilation (respiratory plateau). D is the end-tidal point where CO2 concentration is highest and where the monitoring of the values is measured. Phase 4 is the section between D and E which represents inspiration.
